Let Sassafras take the worry out of planning your special tea parties. At your request we will provide tea and etiquette programs prior to your tea. This will allow those who are not familiar with tea to feel comfortable and relaxed during your party. Take a look at some of the party and business options that we have. And remember, the theme of any party is limited only by your imagination. To request information or to send a "save the date notice" go to the reservation page and complete with as much information as possible and just hit the submit button. Baby and Bridal Showers
Having a baby or getting married is a special event and to take the stress out of planning these parties for your friend or family member let us make it a memorable experience that you will cherish.
Your party will include:

Children's and Young Ladies' Parties
We offer several types of children's parties and teas for young ladies:
The Little Princess Tea or Princess Tea
suggested for girls aged 3 to 11
Your party will include:
• A selection of children's teas and homemade lemonade
• Traditional three course afternoon tea food items served on tiered trays
• Invitations
• Themed dress up items including tiaras, jewelry and gloves
• A birthday gift chosen by Sassafras
• A customized cake for the occasion (optional, and priced separately)
• A tea drinking etiquette demonstration
The Princess Tea or Nubian Princess Tea
suggested for teenaged young ladies
The Princess Tea is a traditional fairy tale princess theme. The Nubian Princess Tea is an African inspired theme with corresponding accessories and service items.
Your party will include:
• A selection of 3 teas and homemade lemonade
• Traditional three course afternoon tea food items served on tiered trays
• Invitations
• Traditional tiaras or African inspired head wear
• A birthday gift chosen by Sassafras

The Debutante Tea
for young women aged 16-18
Your party will include:

Debutante Tea Parties are 2 hours in length, and must be scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance. The minimum number of participants for this package is 8.
The Theme of Your Choice Tea
for any aged girl or young lady
A birthday party or celebration tea with a theme of your choice. Prices will vary based on the theme chosen.
Policies for Children's or Young Ladies Tea, except Debutante Tea
Tea Parties are 2 hours in length, and must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance. (Note: At least two weeks notice is required for a party with a customized cake, or A Theme of Your Choice Tea). The minimum number of young ladies for this package is 5.
Ladies Group Teas
We can customize a tea for you and your friends for any occasion, whether you just want to get together to celebrate a special occasion, for stress relief, or just a get together for old friends.
