Stevia is a natural herbal sweetener, claimed to be 50 to 60 times sweeter than sugar. It is safe for diabetics, hypoglycemics and Candida sufferers.
Stevia can be used for baking but changes the color of white cake. Stevia adds a slightly anise tase to whatever you are cooking.
Stevia can be made into an infusion by putting a spoonful in a cup of warm water and then adding it by the teaspoon to whatever you want to sweeten.
